Monday Week 2 - Kit Kit in the park

This week is so fun because a person called Anna is looking after me and she is a good friend. Here is what we did on Monday.

First fed Kit Kit (if don't know about her read my last entry). We fed her the egg white of a fried egg but because she can't walk she kept rolling in them! Next we went to a a park and bought Kit Kit with us so she could play in the grass.
So we read books, played on my DS and with Kit Kit.

When I got hungry we went to Sonic, the all-American Drive-thru'. First, you park in a space, next you order your food over an intercom system. Then they bring it to you and stay parked up and just eat it.

I had a cheese burger and bacon toastie with tata tots and Route 45 green apple slushie. Route 45 meant it was double the size!

Hot Tubs, Kittens and Li Hing

Hi! Since I last wrote in this blog, I have soaked in hot tubs. The hot tub was in a hotel that used to be an old school. (You can see some photos of it here)

When we went to the front desk we felt like we were going to get told off because it was in the old office marked "Principal"!

On Wednesday we met a cat called Kit Kit, which is a very cute kitten that had been found in the middle of the road. It's happy but it can't walk. The people that own it think this is because it got hit by a car in the head and it's legs are fine. It's black and likes to play like a wild cat.

Via my friend Beth, I met a man and his daughter from Hawaii. The man's name was Randall and the girl's name was Shayla. We did some marbling (thanks to Katya for the marbling paints, also thanks to Melissa for the sketching and colouring pencils). With them they brought Li Hing Mango. It was weird because it was salty on the outside but sweet on the inside.

Monday Week 1 - Bagdad and walking

On Monday we walked down to a person called Michael's house, he is a good friend of ours and had offered to lend us a car. It was a long way but we stopped for lunch. I had a bagel with grilled cheese and peppers.

We also went to a couple of shops called "Donna & Toots" (a friend of ours called Kristen designs and makes clothes there), "Grasshopper" (a great childrens toy shop) and "Mimosa Studios" (which is a bit like Potters Den in Holmfirth).

I also went to a bookshop called Powells – not the big one though, you'll probably hear about it later. I bought a Mandala colouring book.

When we had picked up the car, we went to see "Monsters Vs Aliens" in a cinema where you could get great pizza and lemonade. It is called the "Bagdad" and looks like an Arabian temple inside.

the jorney over to america.

To get to America we had to first fly to Amsterdam then fly to Portland .
The first flight was an hour long so i tried to get some sleep (i was tired because we got up at 2 o'clock) and i also read my book , which i had bought at the airport.

The next flight was 11 hours long. So we had food. Here is a picture of what I had:

There was a baby called Gus who was sitting next to us. He was really cute and I drew a picture of him.

Joel, my brother, was dead to the world whilst we were flying as he had not had any sleep since the night before we flew because he decided to stay up all night before we left. This is what he looked like:
The flight itself was long and boring although I had a rucksac of stuff as hand luggage to entertain me.
